Designed for preschoolers ages 3 – 5, this 30-minute session will bolster kids’ pre-reading skills. This group enjoys longer stories, rhymes, and songs -- occasionally including American Sign Language (ASL). Includes a craft afterward.

Make a craft projector explore your creative side! People of all abilities welcome!

This storytime is for the wobbling walkers who are not quite ready to join the energetic toddlers. This is a step up from Baby storytime incorporating more full-body movements and still encouraging a lot of parent and child interaction.

Join us for singing, dancing, and stories! You’ll learn lots of new songs and dances, but don’t worry—most are repeated week after week so toddlers and their grown-ups have a chance to know them. This high-energy storytime incorporates a lot of movement and is designed to nurture 2 and 3-year-olds. Older/younger siblings are always welcome.

Discussions will be led by a Library staff member. Feel free to bring questions or information on the book/author. Pick up your copy at the Chehalem Senior Center where the meetings will be held.

Circle up for this intimate group of caregivers and infants ages 0-18 months. We’ll share books, rhymes, music, and movement in this 25-minute program. A 15-minute playtime and socialization follows.

Brighton Hospice, the Yamhill County Older Adult Behavioral Health Specialist, and the McMinnville Senior Center invite you to a grief support group that will provide you with an open forum to share your experiences, allow you to talk, share stories, and help you learn ways to cope with your grief/loss with others who have experienced it. This group will allow those who have lost a loved one to share their struggles with others and receive peer support.

Whether your loss was recently or ten years ago, all are welcome.

Third Thursdays: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Young Teen Thursdays REGISTER HERE for January Young Teen Thursdays is a monthly two-hour service program for middle schoolers (6th-8th grade) who are ready to serve the library. Learn how the library works, prep materials for library programs, and help clean and organize.

ngage your young ones in this interactive parent-involved preschool class. Classes will focus on improving fine and gross motor skills while having a blast with exciting games and meeting new friends.

Come craft & chat! Bring your crafts or use our supplies. Every 3rd Thursday of the month. No registration is necessary.

Acompáñanos durante media hora de canciones, cuentos, movimiento y tiempo para jugar en español e inglés. No es necesario saber el inglés, ¡todos son bienvenidos! Apto para edades 0-5.

Join us for a half hour of songs, stories, movement, and playtime in Spanish and English. You do not have to be a Spanish speaker, all are welcome! Suitable for birth-preschool.

Head to the McMinnville Grange Hall for live music and dancing. 7:30-10:30p.m.

McMinnville Grange Farmer's Market every Saturday 10 am - 2 pm.

Children learning to read are invited to spend 10 minutes reading aloud to a certified therapy dog.
Dogs are friendly and make no judgments regarding mispronunciations. ;) Bring your own book, or borrow one from the library.
